For one week in June, 2012, the clever folks at Floating Sheep took a sample of tweets and extracted all tweets containing the word "church" or "beer". They then plotted these tweets on a map of the USA and out came this beautiful map. Now we can see that the Bible Belt really does live up to its name.
The website gives us a lot more analysis and fun facts. Next time, maybe they can do "quilting" or "bourbon".
